Mr. Tocchini read economics and law at Brigham Young University (BYU) and has since taught university subjects covering corporate law, comparative legal traditions, international treaty enforcement, and modern media. He continues to research and write in these fields today.

Katharine Ruhl has over six years of experience in deportation defense and direct representation in Immigration Courts throughout Arizona. She has an intimate knowledge of immigration law and procedure, and brings that expertise to her representation of clients at the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, including motions to reopen. She also currently accepts a limited amount of cases before the Immigration Courts. Her areas of expertise include all areas of deportation defense, the intersection of criminal and immigration law, waivers, asylee and refugee adjustments, U visas, VAWA, and asylum law, with a special focus on sexuality and gender based claims. Ms. Ruhl started her career as a Staff Attorney with the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project, where she assisted those detained by ICE in Arizona to navigate immigration law and defend against deportation. She continued her work in deportation defense, in both the detained and non-detained setting, in private practice with the Law Offices of Matthew H. Green in Tucson, before starting Ruhl Immigration, PLLC.
