Mark’s practice is focused on employment- and family-based immigration law. A large portion of the firms immigration work involves investor visas, including both nonimmigrant (E-2) and immigrant (EB-5) cases. He also has a strong interest in assisting people with international adoption law and procedures, in addition to the firm's steady work with marriage based adjustment of status, removal of conditions, naturalization and derivative citizenship cases.
Following law school, Mark clerked for Federal Magistrate Judge Peter Ormsby in McAllen, Texas and then entered private immigration practice with the Law Offices of Laurier B. MacDonald, working primarily with the INS District Office in Harlingen, Texas. After helping to start that firm’s employment-based immigration practice, he accepted a position at Lewis and Roca, LLP in Phoenix, and later helped launch Brelje and Associates PLC, a boutique firm devoted to immigration law services to Fortune 100 and 500 corporations, local businesses, hospitals and individuals. He is now pursuing similar matters with Gunderson, Denton and Peterson, PC.
In 2010 Mark was selected by his peers for inclusion in "Best Lawyers in America" and is currently listed in U.S. News - Best Lawyers for immigration law.
